As President of the Eden Prairie Foundation, I feel privileged and honored to be able to make a difference in the community I care so much about. Since its inception in 1981, the Foundation has awarded nearly $1 million in grants and scholarships to deserving community organizations and students. We award grants each spring and fall, and scholarships in the spring. Recently we awarded grants to:

  • ABC Foundation – new twin beds for ABC scholars
  • Friends of the Minnesota Valley – tools/equipment/materials for Community Clean-ups for Water Quality
  • Friendship Ventures – tables for dining hall at Eden Wood Center
  • La Danse Fatale – sound equipment for rehearsals and performances
  • Mount Olivet Rolling Acres – materials/labor for concrete path leading to wheelchair-accessible glider
  • Oak Point Intermediate School – adaptive physical education equipment for students with disabilities

We also perform an important role in the community by managing funds for other community groups such as the Veteran’s Memorial group and the Eden Prairie Art Center group.

We know that you are asked to donate to many worthwhile causes, but we ask that you make a difference right here in Eden Prairie. Give where you live!
